THE "TIMIOS STAVROS" CHURCH . The church of “Timios Stavros” (Holy Cross) is located at the south end of the village. In its present form it appears as a «three-aisle» church with a dome and it is the result of three additions and various interferences that significantly changed its original form. In 1985 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List which includes nine other painted Byzantine churches of the Troodos range.
